This book was AMAZING! It was the most convicting novel I’ve ever read. It’s intense from beginning to end and it leaves you reflecting over your own life when you’ve finished reading it. Believe me when I say this; my life was literally changed after reading RESCUED. It’s that good, I promise.
Scuttlebutt amongst the church February 22, 2007

It happens everyday. Why do we do this to each other? Why does it have to happen? Especially in the church amongst God’s children. If you don’t know what I’m referring to then I’ll tell you. I’m referring to gossip. Now before I even type another word, let me say this; I‘ve opened my mouth plenty of times so as you read this please don’t think I’m pointing my finger at you. I’m just as guilty as most of you. All I’m doing is simply writing about a topic that has caused more damage in the church than almost any other thing. I’m writing in hopes that you would see my heart about things, hoping that your thoughts would kick into second gear and you too, would look at this topic in a more mature way. So with that being said… (more…)
National Pancake Day? February 21, 2007

Who would’ve thought that there was actually a National Pancake Day! Well, as crazy as it sounds, its legit. I heard about from a friend and it sounded to good to be true. So, I looked it up online and sure enough, I read it for myself. IHOP, a.k.a International House of Pancakes was doing a charity and they were giving out one free short stack of pancakes. All they asked was that we would consider giving a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network. How cool is that! After I got off work I jetted back to my dorm and told my friends that I was heading over for my free dinner. We all hopped in my car and headed for the restaurant. Not only did we enjoy the fellowship, we got to eat FREE pancakes! So for all of you who didn’t know about National Pancake Day this year, keep your ears and stomach open for this amazing day next year.
